Escapade PR is excited to announce that it will partnering with the amazing charity Smart Works, and supporting its Reading branch on a number of its incentives to help women into work, in the Thames Valley area.
Who is Smart Works you ask? They are a UK charity who were named Social Action Charity of the Year in 2017, that not only provide interview training to unemployed women in need but also high quality interview clothes.
With 65% of its clients going on to get the job after receiving a brand new styled interview outfit and one-to-one interview coaching, it’s easy to see just how important their work is! These women had all been referred to Smart Works via organisations such as job centres, care homes, prisons and mental health charities.
Smart Works has over 350 trained volunteers across the UK who dedicate their time to empowering other women to succeed. The high quality clothes are all donated from either individuals or directly from retailers. They currently have services operating in North London, West London, Edinburgh, Greater Manchester, Reading, Newcastle, Birmingham and Leeds.
Escapade will be support Smart Works Reading with both fundraising and professional support initiatives.
