The Royal Wedding – How Brands are Getting Involved

Are you one of the many feeling super excited about this weekend’s #RoyalWedding? His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales, once dubbed the world’s most eligible bachelor, is actually getting married! And there’s no shortage of brands jumping on the back of the hype! Here are our top three favourite!

Hot on the heels of Percyand Penny tying the knot, Marks & Spencer has also temporarily renamed itself “Markle & Sparkle” in honour of the big wedding! The high street giant has also temporarily renamed its roast chicken salad sandwich ‘The Proposal’ in honour of the royal romance. A release from the retailer went on to say that following “some confusion as to whether public guests attending the Royal Wedding will be offered refreshments on the day” M&S has said that anyone presenting their invite in store on Friday or Saturday can receive a free meal deal. These are lucky people indeed!

It seems sparkly crisps are no longer just for Christmas! Tyrrells has launched a parsnip crisp variant that is flavoured with “a hint of ginger, sweet honey, and added edible glitter, giving a celebratory feel for the Royal Wedding”. The brand have also been running a fun giveaway on social media for a chance to win a party packs to help you celebrate the wonderful wedding, including the obligatory Harry and Megan face masks!

And of course, only being a short distance from the venue itself, Legoland have kept up with their tradition by creating a replica out of 39,000 Lego bricks. It reportedly took nearly 600 hours to create the exhibit, which features a replica of the Windsor Castle and mini Lego versions of many members of the royal family.

And still with a day to go, we’re sure they’ll still be many more to come! Congratulations Harry and Meghan!
