Brands have been killing it with campaigns this month with their innovative way to connect with their audiences and build a relationship with them. So, we decided to pick a few PR campaigns that stood out to us! Here’s a roundup of the best campaigns in July:
Butterkist “Here for #CasaAmor”
The drama is hotting up in ITV’s reality show Love Island after the producers introduce a selection of new contestants in Casa Amor.
During the Casa Amor recoupling (where participants choose who they want to couple up with or share a bed with) Butterkist jumped at the opportunity to place a tactical ad that shows a broken heart animation with the hashtag #CasaAmor – encouraging Love Island fans to #GoGrabTheButterkist
Yorkshire Tina’s Leaving Do
Sir Patrick Stewart is the latest famous face to feature in Yorkshire Tea’s long-running “Where everything’s done properly” campaign. Viewers see Sir Patrick Stewart deliver a passionate speech at Tina’s leaving party, bringing tears to colleagues’ eyes all whilst enjoying a cup of Yorkshire Tea.
Go Desperados: Pour Some Unusual on Your Usual
The video opens with a neighbour arriving at a house party who appears to be annoyed about loud music playing.
But then requests that the music should be turned up and enters the house to find partygoers standing by the pool wearing inflatable costumes and another who has an arm that can open a bottle of Desperados.
Nando’s 19th July
Last week, England set a high-temperature record of 40 degrees, which provided Nando’s with the perfect opportunity to utilise their well-known “PERI-Ometer” in a strategic ad by changing ‘Extra Hot’ on the scale to July 19th.
Nando’s really utilises both customers’ experiences at the restaurants and on the hottest day on record by using a distinguishable image.
