NOVEMBER’S STANDOUT CAMPAIGNS: ESCAPADE’S MONTHLY CONSUMER MARKETING ROUND-UP

As we wrap up November, brands haven’t just been leaning into the festive season — they’re tapping into real purpose, bold ideas and culturally relevant moments. This month’s consumer marketing round-up is a mix of creativity, empathy and smart storytelling.

If you’re wondering where the Christmas campaigns are, we’ve left them out on purpose — they’ve already had their own spotlight! You can catch our 2025 Christmas ad round-up here.

1. Wicked Takes Over Brick Lane

To celebrate the cinematic release of WICKED: FOR GOOD, East London’s Brick Lane has been transformed into “Yellow Brick Lane” — visually magical and deeply immersive.

Six artists were commissioned to create installations and murals inspired by the themes of transformation, duality and friendship: from giant neon lyrics to large-scale portraits of Elphaba and Glinda.

The activation includes a walking experience, street name changes, posters, secret pop installations and more — turning a cultural landmark into a lived, interactive piece of the Wicked universe. It’s a reminder that film marketing doesn’t have to stay on screen!

2. KFC Turns Upside Down for Stranger Things

In a pop-culture tie-in, KFC transforms into “Hawkins Fried Chicken” to celebrate the launch of the final season of Stranger Things.

The campaign reimagines KFC as part of the Stranger Things world, with a hero film that puts employees on a mission through supernatural chaos to deliver chicken.

To bring the collaboration to life, KFC has designed a special “Stranger Things Burger” (complete with a red bun) and “Stranger Wings,” and is supporting this with digital activations, social storytelling and real-world experiences tied to Hawkins Fried Chicken.

3. Xbox, Sky Sports and Football Manager on Closing the Gender Coaching Gap

Xbox, in partnership with Sky Sports and Football Manager, launched a meaningful campaign called “Missing Managers”, fronted by coaching legend Emma Hayes and aimed at addressing the gender imbalance in football coaching.

For the first time, Football Manager 26 on Xbox Game Pass integrates the women’s game — but the campaign goes further: successful players can apply for fully funded coaching courses (UEFA-licensed) and real experience in the Women’s Super League, via The Powerhouse Project.

Even more powerfully, the women who progress will be playable as coaches in future Football Manager games — bringing visibility and representation right into the heart of the virtual world.

4. Bodyform Lifts the Weight of Heavy Periods

Bodyform’s new campaign for Bodyform Ultimate makes visible what’s often invisible. Drawing on research that shows just how common and disruptive heavy periods are, the campaign features a striking giant blood droplet — a symbol of the immense volume many people with heavy flows contend with.

What really anchors the campaign is a bold PR moment: the World’s Strongest Woman, Rebecca Roberts, literally carries this symbolic droplet in busy London Liverpool Street station, spotlighting the burden many people carry silently.

Bodyform is even donating 20,000 Ultimate pads at Liverpool Street station, as part of its commitment to period equity.

This is empathy in action, backed by real data — and it’s a powerful call to acknowledge and support those with heavy periods.

5. Arthritis UK Gets Moving on TikTok

Arthritis UK teamed up with TikTok for Good’s Launchpad for a campaign that tackles stigma around arthritis, particularly for young people who often face the stereotype that it’s “an old person’s disease.”

The heart of the campaign is a dance challenge called The Arthur Tut, fusing physiotherapy-inspired movements (to help joint mobility) with the viral finger-tutting dance style, all set to The Hoosiers’ nostalgic track “Goodbye Mr A.”

Young people with arthritis have even personified their condition as “Arthur” — reclaiming the narrative in a way that’s playful and empowering.

By turning recovery into a movement (literally), Arthritis UK gives visibility to younger people living with arthritis and encourages a supportive, open conversation.
