A month ago, we were privileged to be part of the marketing and communications team that launched, The Lexicon Bracknell.
We have worked on the project for seven years, so far, and so it was with a great sense of pride that we watched the new town centre quite literally spring into life.
Social media played a crucial part in making the communications element of the launch such a huge success. We created a social content strategy that broke all the traditional rules by posting every 15 minutes.
Facebook in particular, became the engagement hub for consumers and kept the team super busy during launch.
A breakfast meeting, for local community bloggers also provided very real, first reactions to the long awaited new town centre.
The coverage results were phenomenal too, with 124 pieces across local, regional and national platforms.
Sue Boor, Head of Marketing for The Lexicon says: “What impresses me most about Escapade is their in-depth understanding of both the media and consumers. While extremely organised in crafting messages and content strategies, they are quick to react and adapt to an ever changing scenario.”
Our role now is to help keep the footfall and positivity growing, which, while not wishing to tempt fate, if the launch reaction was anything to go by, shouldn’t be too onerous a retail pr task.
Our consumer lifestyle PR team specialise in connecting everyday brands with everyday people across four core sectors; Consumer Lifestyle PR, Food & Drink PR, Retail PR and Sport, Wellbeing an Fitness PR. More information on these areas of knowledge can be found at www.escapadepr.com/about-us.
