March has been a month filled with innovative and captivating marketing campaigns across many brands. Let’s take a look at some of the top food PR campaigns that have caught our attention!
PERi-PERi Saka – Yes Chef
Nando’s teamed up with Arsenal star Bukayo Saka to introduce a limited-edition Peri-Peri sauce. The campaign, ‘Yes Chef,’ features a playful launch video showcasing Saka as head chef, adding his personal touch to the new sauce.
The video highlights the intensity of kitchen environments with a fun twist.
McDonald’s Chicken
McDonald’s celebrated its chicken menu range with a quirky ad that resonates with ordinary people. The 60-second film depicts how McDonald’s chicken products have become a part of popular culture.
The campaign aims to showcase the unique appeal of each item, from the McCrispy to the classic chicken nuggets.
KFC No Finger Lickin’ is Required with KFC’s Lunch Menu
KFC introduced its new ‘Lunch Meal Deal’ with a campaign targeting working professionals. The ads highlight KFC as the ideal workplace lunch option, showcasing its convenience and non-messy eating experience.
The campaign features two 30-second spots showcasing how the lunch deal fits seamlessly into busy workdays.
In both videos, we see both a barber and a masseuse taking rather inopportune lunch breaks – right in the middle of servicing clients – to illustrate how KFC’s new lunch deal is ideal for a quick, non-messy on-the-go lunch.
Uber Eats Ramadan
Uber Eats is supporting Muslims observing Ramadan by providing information on restaurants extending their opening hours for Suhoor.
The campaign aims to facilitate a seamless dining experience during the holy month, with a focus on halal restaurant partners offering extended hours for Suhoor, which began on March 10 and will end on April 9 in the UK.
Pretty Little Thing x Krispy Kreme
In an unexpected collaboration, Pretty Little Thing teamed up with Krispy Kreme to launch limited-edition doughnuts.
Featuring pink strawberry glazing and unicorn-style decorations, the doughnuts capture the essence of PLT’s fashion-forward aesthetic. Available for a limited time, these treats offer a delightful blend of style and sweetness.
These campaigns showcase the creativity and innovation prevalent in today’s marketing strategies. From celebrity collaborations to cultural celebrations, brands such as Nando’s, McDonalds, KFC, Uber Eats, Pretty Little Thing, and Krispy Kreme continue to captivate audiences with compelling narratives and engaging content.
